| 1927 |
The late Shuji Furuichi established” Toyo Chrome Inc”. in Fukushima-ku, Osaka as the first chrome plating factory in Japan, with the support of the late Kiichiro Toyoda (founder of Toyota Motor Corporation). Started chrome plating. |
| 1933 | Started manufacture and sales of “Emery Fillet”, the first belt grinder for carding machine raising fillet produced in Japan. |
| 1944 | Established “Toyo Shinpu Kenmatai Co., Ltd.” (now Tokushu Giken Co., Ltd.) and transferred emery fillet business. |
| 1946 | Renamed “Toyo Shinpu Kenmatai Co., Ltd.” to “Toyo Emery Fillet Co., Ltd.” |
| 1949 | Dissolved “Toyo Chrome Inc.” and started plating business. |
| 1954 | Developed and started manufacture and sales of “T.K. Mark Pen” textile end marker. |
| 1962 | Named certified factory by Defense Agency. |
| 1965 | Selected as high quality factory by the Hard Chromium Platers Association of Japan. |
| 1966 |
Renamed “Toyo Emery Fillet Co., Ltd.” to “Toyo Emery Co., Ltd.” Started sales of grinding machines and materials as dealership for prominent manufacturers. |
| 1967 |
Developed, patented and started manufacture and sales of “Pinhole-Inlay” metal filling machine. Built Mukogawa factory at Amagasaki,Hyogo, which transfer plating business. Named JIS approved industrial plating factory by Ministry of International Trade and Industry. |
| 1980 |
Renamed “Toyo Emery Co., Ltd.” to “Tokushu Giken Co., Ltd.” Developed, patented and started manufacture and sales of “Spanode” high performance anode for chrome plating. |
| 1985 | Established technology for applying ultra wear resistant film to mill roll and started “Spachromium” coating business. |
| 1989 | Substantiality of rationalization by combination of product division were expected and a business establishment was integrated into Mukogawa factory. |
| 1991 | Introduced non drainage by ion exchange method. |
| 1994 | Increased capital to \30,000,000. |
| 1998 | Completed and started manufacture and sales of “My Filter” simplified filtering machine for chrome plating. |

Developed, applied for patent for, and started manufacture and sales of “Magnebar” iron dust remover for chrome plating. |

Established Tokushu Giken (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. |
| 2017 | 90th anniversary of foundation. |
